Making My Way Through Training

Hello Everyone at WA!

I have made so much progress here on WA so far and I cannot wait to get through training! When I joined several months ago I had already had a lot of experience with website development, social media marketing, advertising, writing blogs and more. Despite all of that I have never taken training like this and never knew that being an affiliate was a thing.

I had been searching for a better way to generate money online and harness the platforms that we have now and then Affiliation found me. I was almost taken in by a scam type of affiliation program. They wanted people to pay an insane amount and you had to buy the training programs in bits and pieces. Anyways, I am so glad that I did more research and found WA!

I am just getting through course #2 and have 3,4 and 5 to go. I didn't realize how long it would take me to get through 1 and 2 but I decided to just take by time and enjoy the process because I believe in this program 100%. I think that whatever I put in I will get out and that has already been the case. An example would be; I had already built a website for a friend and I didn't realize that I didn't add the SEO package at all and she wasn't getting ranked that well or found that easily until I did that.

Niche

I decided to start working in women's running shoes because I have enjoyed running for over 10 years now and I have had by own journey and process with finding and wearing the right running shoes. I have written about 4 articles and the website still needs a lot of work but I am happy with it thus far.

and I have a deep interest in art so I am going to create a website all about art lessons because I have also found a couple of really great craftsy affiliation websites that I want to go through as well. I have heard good things about Amazon and warnings to be careful with affiliating with them so I am prepared for that.

Successes

I am proud of the fact that I am juggling this with work, school and starting a non-profit... oh, I forgot that I am supposed to be getting prepared for an art show in 3 months! (www.facebook.com/maleekenworthy) But, all of these things, including WA, are a passion of mine. Wealthy Affiliate ties into everything that I am doing in my life and on top of that the program is an entrepreneurship certification program and I am finishing my degree this year in Entrepreneurship and Business Management! This all ties in to each other.

Goals the next 3 months

I need to keep focusing on school and work. I am going to remain focused the next 5 weeks and then I am going to take a 1-week break and drive a state away from me to see my family because I do that every year. I am going to focus on preparing for the art show in 3 months because that will be big deal as well. When it comes to WA I will focus on getting through the next 3 courses and then I will hopefully start beginning to generate an income by mid may (if I can finish all courses by then) and then I will hopefully be generating $500 a month in a month or two... sometimes it takes a few months to get there I have seen.

Goals the next 6 months

I just want to complete my bachelors degree, get my non-profit up and running/ accepting donations, be making $1,000 to $2,000 a month with WA and focusing on whatever is important to me. I want to pay off my petty debt and focus on travels and going overseas again, graduating and spending the holidays with my family.
