Site will not Connect to HTTPS
I am having trouble with my website. It will not connect to Jetpack or the woocommerce plugin that I installed. I even changed themes and deactivated every plugin. Even after changing themes and deactivating every plugin the website said that it cannot connect to HTTPS/ SSL- and YES I have checked to make sure that my SSL is turned on and it even says in the WA site that everything is activated- including the jet pack even though it says it cannot connect! This is frustrating, does anyone have any input regarding this or have any experience with this?

Jetpack can't be used on WA. It requires data to be sent back to it and WA does not allow that. Sorry!
So, we don't need jetpack when we are being hosted through WA then? There is no need to be sorry if we don't need jetpack because WA already has us covered... I was just confused and I spent a lot of time on this so I decided to reach out to people on here, thanks for your help.

I am just so frustrated because I watched the entire thing (all 45 minutes+) and then he didn't even use the woocommerce to sell actual items, which makes sense because of affiliate links but what if I want to also sell physical items? I guess I will have to use something different in order to have a shop...
What? I'd heard others rave about that training. I haven't watched it yet as I haven't needed woocommerce. Maybe you could pm Jay? I'm so sorry. Btw you do know you can speed up his training videos right? From1.25 times the speed to 2x the speed.
Yeah, its a great training but he isn't selling anything physical. you have to activate the jet pack in order to fully activate the woo commerce pack... if that is not fully activated then people cannot buy what you are selling physically. I wanted to be able to sell some physical items on my blog in addition to having affiliate links. I don't think that is possible. I am doing an art blog website and I was going to combine it with my art blogs and products because there is a craftsy affiliate link that I want but I have to have art blogs first... I think you get what I mean ? I can't seem to use woocommerce!
Hmmm, how about Shopify? I know that integrates, but don't know how. You could search it though. Sure wish I was artistic. Looks peaceful and fun.
Sorry Mland, I also had a similar experience. I would suggest 2 options:
1. Reach out to site support
2. You might have to go back to the first theme which worked well and activate all plugins. then deactivate them one by one to trace the problem. It might be that the themes you are selecting are conflicting with your installed plugins.

Have you tried to go back to the first theme where things were working well? it could be that the coding of the theme you are using conflicts with the plugin codes.
Yes, but Wealthy Affiliate does not allow Jet pack under their hosting so it turns out that it doesn't matter what theme you use.
A member was just saying in Live Chat that WA does not support Jetpack, so perhaps delete that plugin completely and try. I’m not sure about Woo commerce.
If that doesn’t work log a ticket with site support, give them the error message and explain what’s happening and they can have a look.

Yeah but there is no point trouble shooting it if WA doesn't support jetpack, all of my efforts to change that are futile but thank you for helping !
