Off like a Herd of Turtles!
This is my first Wealthy Affiliate blog post! Woo hoo! Another tiny bit of progress!
I've been here 6 months already and have not progressed near as far as I'd expected. I'm just now finishing course 2 and only have 2 blog posts so far. I admit Google+ slowed me down a bit as the experience didn't seem to exactly match the instructions. But I think I finally figured out what I need to know.
And life had a bigger influence on my lack of progress. 3 months ago I got engaged. 2 months ago I got married. 9 days later my father passed, and he did not live locally so I had to go back for the funeral.
All that's settled now and I'm back to being able to work a bit every day. I'm still eager to see where I can go with this and, in particular, if I can finally make some money.
By day I'm an aerospace engineer, but I've been training dogs on the side for a long time. I think we modern dog trainers have done a pretty poor job overall with sharing what we know with the general public, and I'm resolved to help fix that. Most of the folks you see on TV are still using techniques developed in the 50's and we've learned much better ways to communicate with our 4-legged best friends since then.
So, onward and upward! I really appreciate the support I've received from this community and look forward to more interactions.
