My story and why I am starting a business
Greetings,
I am new at this so you will have to bare with me. My name is Kate. I am an elementary school art teacher. I have taught in the inner city schools for over 15 years. I have just recently resigned from my position and have decided to embark on a new venture, my passion–health and wellness.
Leading up to my newest venture…
So I have always been a huge fan of exercise and nutrition. Recently I was experiencing “brain fog” at the ripe age of 43. I thought I was losing my mind. One day I was walking through a well known store and picked up the book Grain Brain by Dr. Perlmutter. His book inspired me to learn more and to share what I have learned with my friends and family.
From that point on, I have been vigilantly learning all I can about nutrition, listening to webinars, attending online health summits and reading all that I can. I want to "shout" out to the world what I have learned and help others to WANT to become healthier. So I decided to start a website called nutrifitmom.com
As of now, I am in the process of getting my health coaching certificate. I currently hold a Masters in Education with a Special Education endorsement. I want to help all that I can. I am still in the process of really narrowing my niche in this area. But with feedback and comments from others I am confident I will find my niche.
With that said, I am very glad to be a part of WA. I appreciate you. So thank you.

Your going to love WA for a related reason. It combats "brain fog". One of my goals as I approached retirement was to find an activity that would keep me engaged and my mind active, following a "use or lose it" theory.
WA has allowed me to totally meet that goal. I'm still working on my financial goals at WA, but I love the process because it fulfills the first goal every day.

Just wanted to drop in and visit your 'story'. Now that you have taken this incredible step you are going to find so much to keep you going. Just keep at it. So many here have said as long as you don't give up you will in time succeed, its all at the pace we set for it learning this industry and then being in action applying what we learn.

Kate, you will have to 'bear' with me as I tend to pick up odd things. So I will only 'bare' with you when we belong to the same nudist camp. And I don't think you will find me there!
