As is more and more common, COVID 19 is so big a beast we can't get our lives unwrapped from it. Every day I hear about it so much, I get sick of it.

I am fortunate enough to live in Maryland USA. Our governor has adopted a "measured" approach to the pandemic. That is to say build a little, test a little and take actions one step at a time. That is exactly what this beast requires.

Some areas have opened theaters and other large meeting areas again. Due to recurrent outbreak spikes,.only too quickly, they end up with egg on their faces having to backtrack to a safe platform On the main course of events, rashness equals a spread of infection and the paralyzing threat of lawsuits. Too much caution also paralyzes people with social straitjacketing.
The general consensus is that the only ray of actual hope of a solution is the development of a proven and vetted vaccine. I can make predictions. They can, however be turned around in short order as not all the solution approaches have yet fallen in place. The latest from my perspective is first roll out in spring of 21 but not cemented until spring of 22. Yes, wait wise it isn't easy

. What are the interim solutions? For that we have to look at the current forays being made in the virtual event arena. It's more than just watching Netflix or parsing out Zoom sessions. I have to say that WA has developed, all unknowing, the perfect approach. With a worldwide virtual forum in place, the stellar approach that Kyle and Carson have taken is brilliant. Spinoff approaches to this brilliant and working strategy are imitated but I dare say, nothing comes close to what we have.

This is a lifesaver in a pandemic and one of the many resasons I am a WA member for life. As we forge on to the years ahead and successfully meet our challenges my greatest comfort is in knowing I am a member of this super winning team!
