History of Writing Instruments

"The cave man's first inventions were the hunting club and the handy sharpened-stone, the all-purpose skinning and killing tool. The latter was adapted into the first writing instrument. Cave men scratched pictures with the sharpened-stone tool onto the walls of his cave dwelling. The cave drawings represented events in daily life such as the planting of crops or hunting victories"

We get upset when our computer goes down for a few hours. Even worse is the unsuccessful downloading of content for a case study or business presentation in our websites. Originally it was a matter of broken or lost instruments. Such things as pens running out of ink and broken lead in pencils used to be of primary concern. A common problem is nub remains of erasers. Without caution, the metal edge that holds the eraser can rip paper when trying to use the remaining nub.
