Life is a mess - lets clip some goals to it.

I used to say, "I'm not a goal oriented person." I go with the flow of life, whatever happens will, because it always does.

Each day, I'd think what am I going to do today. I'd jot down my list on an old scrap of paper. And go about my day accomplishing the items on my list. Checking them off as I completed each one.

A friend asked me, "What kind of goals did I have for my life?" Me being the easy going person said, "I don't make goals." She said, "I've been cleaning and I make a list of what needs to be done today, and mark them off as I complete them. I have my daily goals."

What an epiphany! Unbeknownst of myself, I am a goal maker. Little paper clips of what I need to complete each on the lists I've been making are goals. This means I am a planner. Awesome!

On to making my Goals, I.e. Lists, for the day!

1. Time with God

2. WA

3. Job hunt

4. Prepare Sunday School Lesson

5. Volunteer at food bank

Goal setting is a skill a lot have overlooked or don't even hear at all. All great journey starts with a goal! My goal is to keep an iron will to do what must be done based on the time hone principle of truth, beautiful and right.

Making the right goals with noble intentions is the way to do them

Great goals.
Joe

Amen! Time with God first thing. Starts the day off on the best focus. Goals for the day and week and month and life so important.
Go for it!

Hi MKay love your goals always start my day with #1. Can't make it without Him. Thanks for the inspiration.
Much Success
Eric

Wow, that is some mighty good goals. My goal is to write every day in the morning and spend quality time with my daughter in the afternoon xx

Someone once told me, "Plan your work, then work your plan."

I actually have life goals, then broke those down to monthly, weekly and then daily. It's the "Life Happens" stuff that pops up and throws a detour into things. Goals must be flexible enough to get you back on track.

Wishing you continued success.

Gary

Goals are definitely important. Jim

Great goals Mary Kay.
Have a great evening,
Mickey
