Keep the Fire burning!
When we first join a program, we did have this determination to finish it, to really take it and apply it. So what happened to that? I guess the "Next big Thing" is too shiny that we fall to the same old trick over and over again.
If we have all the time to look for ways to make money online, spend the nights searching for that get rich programs that will "change our lives forever", why not just stick to one program and use all that energy to focus and learn step by step. It might not happen overnight, but by following instructions one step at a time, we're actually learning how the whole program works. And hey, before you know it, all these knowledge are already instilled in your mind.
I call it a solid foundation, you may be a fast learner or maybe someone who takes everything slow while digesting every information but whatever pace you're in if you're following a program that works then you will learn and you will definitely earn.
So let's keep that fire burning and learn from the best and from everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate.

Good one and very true, if you found the right program, which Wealthy Affiliate is. Very few others would ever cut the cheese, even if you stayed for the long haul.
As for commitment, the divorce rate alone tells me that society approved us not to take a long term commitment seriously. After all, if you can get a divorce regardless of the emotional (and financial) consequences, what the heck's the problem divorcing an internet opportunity...?

Great post. I think also people lose their desire because the set their expectations too high - in other words they expect to get money too quickly. Once this doesn't happen then the desire just vanishes.
