Whenever we think of setting new year goals, the first thing that comes in our mind is physical fitness. We aim to join the gym regularly, eat less fast food and so on. However, why don’t we set goals to improve our mental health that is being affected by a huge number of factors and we just don’t realize it. Mental health is an integral part of our overall well-being. So, how do we define good mental health? Let’s take a look at the WHO’s definition of mental health.

“State of well-being in which an individual realizes his or her own abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and is able to make a contribution to his or her community.”

Great point Michael. While I don't make new years resolutions I do keep goals in mind throughout the year.
I think one of the things that help me mentally is the right attitude about life and I am thankful that through many of the blogs here there seems always some encouragement and inspiration to keep my attitude soaring.
