The MOMENT in Momentum
I just discovered a secret I want to share about when I went Premium.
I waited months for the right time and when I finally got there, I froze. In that moment, which stretched into 9 days, I could do nothing. I always knew about taking action as soon as you get an idea, etc. However, in retrospect, I now see that the crucial point was the VERY NEXT MINUTE! Not the next hour or the next day, as I told myself I would start. THE NEXT MINUTE! I cannot stress how important this is. I suddenly see it. I was nudged to 'just get on and do something......anything'. That is all you have to do. WHAT you do is so unimportant, you cannot believe it! THAT you do is ALL IMPORTANT! We all know this. We also know the longer we wait the harder it gets. There is a reason for that. That is the experience of losing momentum. We do not realize how much power there is in the decision we just made! In one MOMENT lies infinite POTENTIAL. That is why it is crucial to take the action. It is fresh and pregnant with unmanifested ideas and bursting with energy. This is not always clear and if in seeing this, you can respect your power, then you have made a huge leap!
I wasted 9 days just because I did not do this. Had I just begun, I would have BUILT momentum. Instead, I tore it down, brick by brick. Do you see the difference?
While those 9 days are really not such a huge loss, it did throw me off the time track and I am not where I could be. That is annoying!
So excuse me while I get to work now. I am writing my first blog which would have been up by now...............

That's exactly the way it is! Thank you for this post. The longer you procrastinate the harder it is. I am trying to get back my momentum now and it ain't easy.
Lena, it can be the hardest thing and yet it only takes a second to make some little move. There are so many reasons that can hold us back. It helps to know what they are but you can just think of your goals and it may give you the energy.
Every little step is a success! And now you will go forward with even greater momentum!
Mike, it's always ok to socialize here, ask and answer questions, and anything that strikes you because it is ALL creating. Just don't look at creating content as WORK. See it as bringing out what you do well and allow it to flow. We are waiting for it!
This is so true. There is a time and a place for planning out your goals and learning more about how to build your business... but this won't get you anywhere if you don't just do it.
I have trouble with this at times. I have an idea but I just put it off. I spend time on here (not that it's a bad thing) when I should be creating content and working on my site.
Actually doing it though is the only step that will really get you there. It's so important to remember this.

Sometimes, it is really true that he who hesitates is lost, it is always the "momentum" and "time thinking about it" are lost opportunities to move to the next step. I always believe when you have this surge of "energy", just go and do it before you lost it ... take for example, if you are a salesman, the moment you made the sales, that is the "moment" to make more sales calls. :)
