An early Christmas present to me: double post index!

Yesterday, I took to expand upon my business on here. I first thought to write my first blog post for this week, outside my post days, to make up for not having two blog posts last week. (Fatigue and other obligations took their toll on me.) Unfortunately, the next keyword from my alphabet soup, "doggy products" was waaay too vague for me to write about, especially in what little time I had. So, I 86'd the keyword from the list.

At around 9pm, yesterday, I couldn't envision myself writing a whole blog post, well-researched and engaging, with the couple hours I had til I had to go to sleep to get up the next morning for work. I then, looking at all my past content, saw how few of my blog posts were actually indexed in Google. Also, I was at level 3, the level where I finally get to learn how to monetize my site. The thought then crossed my mind: "instead of mindlessly writing another blog post, how about I clean up the ones I already have"? So, I did.

The topic I wrote about Sunday was a product review, which should have at least one more picture. (There was only one pic, and WordPress wouldn't even make it the thumbnail.) So, I made another category for my site, product reviews, and put that post in it. Looking through the categories, I saw so many posts with missing thumbnails, and one whose language needed to be cleaned up to fit the doggo-lingo theme I have for all my posts. I address a couple of the posts with those concerns in mind. Finally, I assigned SEO keywords to the posts via WordPress. After that, I went back to learning lesson 1 for the affiliate level, and then log off to go about my regular life : play some games on my phone and finally go to bed for the night.

I wake up the morning, check my email, and learn that not one, but two of my posts have been indexed in Google! I only have one that hasn't: the heated dog bed review post. (I have questions on it, but those are topic for another post.
