Journey Through Wealthy Affiliate
I would like to summarize my journey thus far with Wealthy Affiliate!!!
I jointed Wealthy Affiliate in August...I believe it was about 6 weeks ago!!
I initially created (or rather began to create) a website on my first niche - Foot pain!!! As a podiatrist, this niche seemed like an excellent choice for myself. However, as I began to try and break down foot pain I began to get overwhelmed with all of the information I wanted to discuss and decided that "Foot Pain" was just too general of a Niche!!! I felt like it would take years to complete!
I decided at that point to start with a simple problem...toenail fungus!!! I then created www.fixuglynails.com! It is still a work in progress, but I am loving it!!!
I do get frustrated...I am google indexed, but I have 36 keywords and only 2 of them are ranked in the top 100. I am not seeing this change any as time passes!!! I have been told that it does take anywhere from 3-6 months to really start seeing improvements in your google rankings so I am trying to be patient.
Also...I have had no conversions. I know it is still early and once again I am trying to be patient...I would just feel better with that first sale!!!
Lastly...AdSence! I have installed google adsence onto my page and nope...not even one click!!!
In conclusion, I know it is still early in my journey here with Wealthy Affiliates and I am trying to be patient, but thus far things are moving a little slow for me. Does anyone else share my concerns and experiences AND has anyone else had these experiences and then several months down the road it all turned around for them?

Oh yes everything you just described is perfectly normal! 6 weeks in is a very short time. Even if it feels long because of all the time and efforts required. I have been at this for about 9 months now. And I get between 4000 and 6000 visitors on my site a month. I am indexed in Google but it does take time. It takes engagement on your site, comments, readers. And I am still not making money with it. Yes that part is frustrating but I know it will come in time. I did not create the site to make money only so I am enjoying sharing info. But yes it would be nice to generate a revenue......As for AdSense, I had it up for about a month and decided to take it down. The ads were not related enough to my niche and I did not like having no control over what was on my site. Don't give up, it is a process. It will come in time

Could you explain the difference between Google indexed and ranked?

From what I've seen so far, ranked is considered to be within the top 200-300 in Google. Indexed just means that it has been submitted to Google and is available for viewing, whether ranked or not.
