Another Step Toward Success
Hi all, it’s been a while since I wrote an update. But I just wanted to take moment to record a recent accomplishment…
Over the last month, I made some sales!!! My first ever! After 6 months into this venture. It didn’t amount to much, but the fact that this happened to me (ME! Rather than reading about someone else’s experience), and that it actually works… it’s strangely surreal. It’s no longer abstract, it’s real and it works.
So now my Amazon Associates account has been approved. Admittedly a few of the sales came from specific targeted outreach in my niche, but the last two sales that I made were completely organic and passive.
My intention is to branch out from Amazon and focus more on other more specific niche affiliate programs with higher commission rates. But I feel that I need to create some more content first.
I’ve found it more challenging than I initially thought it would be to find my place within my niche, but I’m gaining confidence that I’m getting there and my content is getting more tailored. The whole picture has not come into focus for me yet, and life circumstances have slowed down my website/content development recently, but this recent accomplishment has been a great boost!
Keep doing what you can when you can – be consistent and disciplined to keep taking action (no matter how small) – and things will happen. I’m ready to keep going and get more consistent and increased earnings, even if it’s slowly but surely.
