My website failed miserably according to the new Site Health update I found under my Profile and I think I have to take a leave of absence from Wa University. I am lacking in ma
Building up a site takes time, you have here good advices, I have two sites here, one is doing good, one is doing poor, now I need to work on the poor one, think this new tool will help us to know more about what we need to do.
Misspressy, Do not quit now you are almost there. You have to eat an elephant one bit at a time. Now you have the idea. Next you make it a reality step by gulling step. The idea is only the beginning. - Success is - A JOURNEY - A PROGRESSIVE REALIZATION OF A WORTHY IDEA. Go back to where you stopped understanding your site and work up from there. NO QUITTING. Quitting keeps you where you are. Keep moving forward, No backward movements.
It didn't "fail miserably," my friend. It's just not meeting a standard that's been set. Read through everything here and hang on. Carson said he will be blogging soon about how to improve those rating numbers in the new Build Your Website. Don't give up!!!
You are not a failure, just in a slump. Grab your boot straps, pull, and keep going. Blog often! Get followers! Check sales if you are trying to earn. That's it for me. John
I have the same problem. One of my sites is good and the other is poor. I'm going to find out what it needs to become healthy and get it done.
Have you clicked the view button what can be adjusted? Is it the asking for feedback, or the publishing, lack of comments? etc.
Looks like you have some real good advice here. Sometimes you just have to go back through and figure what the problems are and then just fix them. :))
Oh, don't give up because of site health check. I have more than one site. Two are good, the rest are poor right now. But, that doesn't mean I'm doing poorly, it means I pay attention to them in different ways. If you want to improve your site health, this just gives you a guideline.
I had to get over that hump of realizing I wasn't just here at WA to make money, I am here because I'm learning something new and many things have frustrated me, and continue to do so. I wanted to quit for awhile until I realized I really like what I'm building, and I'm going to focus on getting good at it, so the site health thing is interesting to me. It's a challenge.
It's a tool, not a comment on your personal worth.
If you are going to learn how to build a great website, you are in the right place. You have many people here to help you. Please don't give up because you were given a new tool to use.
Good luck!
Do not be discouraged. Many of us have that because we are somewhat new to the business. The health feature is more of a guide to show you the things you need to work on in order to make your website better.
Do not think because the health is poor your site isn't good. My health is poor on both of my sites and I just use the tool to show me the things I need to improve. For instance, the health check told me I was new so I had only 20%, I already knew that, but I didn't know my lack of response to comments was weakening my site so I took the time to answer to all the messages.
Go through the health inspection and read the areas you need to improve and use that to make your website better. Don't quit, I am sure you will be just fine.
Good luck to you
Manny

My site is also in very "poor health" but I'll be damned if I'm giving up now!! I've spent too much time, energy and hope to let that beat me. It's a bit discouraging, yes. But there are explanations given for the ratings which gives you direction for what needs work. "Never give up, never give in!"

I went to Google + and I searched for WA people whom I wanted to add to my WA circle but I didn't know their names. I added a few because their names were real. I searched here at
Hello Misspressy,
Magandang umaga! (good am, :-) )
The query is well answered now in here. Each of the comments complemented each other well. Truly, the comments of either Kyle or Carson is usually showing the members first name as they signed in at WA.
Checking and getting connected at G+ is also great way and a very good opportunity to connect. It is advisable to continuously increase your contacts and network for better exposure and help.
Good luck and enjoy the journey at WA. . .
You can go to their blogs, lots of WA members have a little Google+ button next to the grey Premium status.
You can also network here too.

You can check out their profile page, many have their name mentioned in their profile, otherwise if needed you can ask them.
Another tip is to find a welcome message on their profile that is written by Kyle or Carson, they are usually showing the members first name.
have a great day
Peter
Well spotted Peter i was about to mention that when I read your comments that is usually the best way. Take care be well
