My Progress Thus Far

So basically I came across this website named himoneybyescams.com because I was searching for scams to be more cautious about to avoid the crafty rich quick schemes. It had an article telling me what affiliate marketing was and how it was beneficial. I've heard of it a few times, but truly I had no clue what it really was. And then it showed me Wealthy Affiliate. I said, "Eh, what the heck if it'll soon pay better than my minimum wage job then I'll give it a try." That's why I have such a ridiculous username because I really didn't expect to get so motivated and lured into this LOL.

I started up my niche, cross necklaces, but I still didn't really understand how it fully worked I wasn't sure that my whole website was going to be dedicated to that one product or that I'm just using a niche that I'm interested in and I'm going to post a few ads on the sidelines and hope visitors click on them. So it truly took a while to learn what I was really doing

First few lessons of training I thought to myself, "Hey! this isn't that hard, I'll be making plenty of money within weeks and finish the training easily and I'll be making plenty of sites and plenty of revenue!" So later I got premium. But it wasn't going to be easy like I thought it would.

It wasn't until I realized that I had to write articles for my site. When Kyle said 1000 words I was like "Eh that ain't so bad", but 2 hours past and I'm only 300 words in. I always got very mediocre grades in English class from writing papers and hated writing essays, I hated them so much that sometimes I didn't even do them and just took the F. That's why I know now that your niche should be something you're interested in. It shouldn't be a painstaking effort writing articles in a topic you're actually interested in.

Truth is, if you want to be successful you must be dedicated. You gotta give it your all! 15 minutes a day isn't enough. It's not even like you're practicing a skill, you're building a foundation and creating a website that someday millions of visitors will come across.

My Reality Check

I'll be honest, I was being stupid, but I was looking for easy ways to obtain money and ended up getting scammed badly, (that's a long story for a later blog lol)

This showed me the reality of making any kind of money even online, If you're not working hard earning money you're either doing some illegal or immoral kind of work. You have to be dedicated. Delete what is superfluous in your life. Get addicted to something that actually matters and that you're actually going to accomplish from.

Do what you hate to get what you love.

What I'm Proud of

Some things that I'm glad that I'm doing is I'm finally taking real action. I'm finally putting down the video games, the YouTube, and social media and it's about time I start working my butt off.

Why should we need extra rest when we already have sleep at night?

During my mid-teen years (I'm still a teen) I've always felt unaccomplished fearing for a life of mediocrity. I'm 17, and I'm spilling all my time into doing this. I can only imagine what it'll be like when I'm 25 and I'm still devoting the same time, dedication (I know I'm saying that word a lot lol) and coming out with the same attitude.

Goals?

My goals right now is to post about 25-30 articles per month, working 3-7 hours per day or night and finishing the entire training before September (I started August 3rd)

My goals in the upcoming 3 months is to start finally making revenue from my site, whether it's $2 a month or $20 a day, it'll prove to me that I can make money online but still putting in effort, of course.

My goal in the upcoming 6 months to be in the top 10,000 in WA and making doubled my revenue from my site than I did in the 3 month period.
