Help with a Website name?

I am working on getting my starter website up and running (yay!) and could use some advice on my website and url name!

My niche is focused on face makeup for anyone really, reviews on the best products, tutorials, where to find them and specific types of makeup (eye shadow, foundation, lipstick, etc).

I had an idea for a name, Your Makeup Mentor. Does this sound good? Will this draw traffic to my website and does it cover the content I am wanting to put up on my website?

I think your on the right track, something with makeup mentor in it would work well I think. I agree with KylieL in that it gives you some authority right away and with good advice/videos you will be developing your authority through your content.

Good luck to you!

That sounds like a winner. Be sure and make it "dot com" if available. As Kyle said, the best extension for URL. :-) Best regards.

Thank you! I only have the starter membership right now, but if I were to upgrade to premium at a future point, would I be able to keep the same Website and Domain Name, but just change it to dotcom? Or will I have to create a whole new website?

If the same name is available in dot com, yes. So, for now you are starting a siterubix site. So, the domain would be yourmakeupmentor.siterubix.com. When you become Premium, you can purchase the domain yourmakeupmentor.com for about $10 from a domain sales site, such as Namecheap.com. You then transfer your siterubix site very easily through the Wealthy Affiliate platform. Piece a pie. :-)

Yay! That is great to know, thank you!!

Your Makeup Mentor and The Makeup Mentor both sound good. I like having "Mentor" in the name because you are already establishing authority but in a friendly way.

I think "Makeup Mentor" and "Mindy" have a nice ring when you pair them, would make a good brand if you use your own name when you are writing and making videos (if you decide to create videos).

The name really isn't as important as the content...your shooting for a "brandable" name and anything can be brandable because you will be creating the brand as your add content and connect with readers.

Best Wishes
Kylie

Thank you so much for the advice! You are right, the content I the important part, and the idea of pairing up my name I think would provide something catchy for people to remember.

Thanks Kylie and God bless! :)

Sounds good to me. Any you certainly have the face for it!!
