Be Grateful For Everyday

Good morning to my WA family.
Last night my family and I received some very bad news, one that I haven’t been able to get over throughout the whole night. A very close family friend of my parents had tragically lost their daughter-in-law whilst on pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia, leaving behind a four year old little girl.

Unfortunately I hadn’t met this daughter-in-law but her husband is a childhood friend of my youngest sister. Without meeting her, knowing her, I have cried endlessly. Why? I also have a four year old and this hits home for me. Her parents have lost a child in another part of the world, her siblings have lost a sister, that no matter how much, they cannot see no more. A dreadful situation that happened with a blink of an eye, one that only God knew of. The thought of the fact that this little girl, her daddy and the grandparents will be returning home to no mother, wife and a daughter-in-law is just pure painful. I don’t know how this awful time will pass for them, but as they mourn her, she is has an instant ticket to Jannah (Heaven). As Muslims, we believe that whoever dies whilst performing pilgrimage, immediately have all their sins deleted and enter heaven.

My Message To You
We don’t know what is around the corner from us and we don’t know what God has written for us but I just wanted to share this with you as a gentle reminder that during your busy lives, not to take life for granted thinking it’ll be ok because you have tomorrow. Live everyday like it’s going to be your last. Be the best you can be to your family and friends, to the ones that happen to cross your path. Your good actions will come back to you as good deeds.
