What Makes A Great Platform For Blogging?
Since the Blogging Crazy has started, there have been numerous platforms to choose from. By platform I mean the actual software used to create a blog. Hence: What Makes A Great Platform For Blogging?
The factors to consider would be, the ease of use, utilities for optimal visual enhancements. These are just a few, but there are many more considerations.
You want the platform to be easy to use so that you can focus on writing and not the technical aspects of the platform. As we all know writing is more enjoyable when it flows from you.
How do you want your blog to look? This is where your visual ideas come into play. Tumblr is more of a graphics blogging platform, great for photographers. Companies like GQ and The Atlantic uses Tumblr. If you are looking into creating a photo blog then this is a great choice.
Wordpress, a user-friendly platform that is very popular. As a matter of fact, my little sister uses this one. With Wordpress you have the choice of going simple and basic to something complex, for expert bloggers. Wall Street Journal and People Magazine are on the Wordpress platform. This platform has an extensive theme library along with a multitude of plug-ins.
Blogger, one of my favorites, is owned by Google. Blogger is a great platform for blogging for profit. This platform integrates very well with Adsense. It doesn't have the theme library like Wordpress, but as far as the beginning blogger, this works great.
I saved the best for last. The Wealthy Affiliate platform. Whether you're a free member or a Premium member, you have access to this wonderful platform. You can purchase domain names right from platform, with numerous other features. Now, if you are a Free member you are limited in some of these features, however, you are still able to start a Money Making Blog. Once you see how the free side is then you'll realize the income potential with becoming a Premium member.
Whichever platform you choose I hope you have fun and make money at it.
