I am in Uganda, East Africa

Do you live in Kampala and are you near a university? If you know people, friends or family that are in good jobs, and know how to buy on line, then those would be my target audience.

First I am trying to figure out what to sell to "my people"....majority of students here dont really have money or even buy online or even have paypal accounts as for the people with "good jobs" those are relative, they are not that many and still dont buy products online, they either send for them through their relatives and or they prefer door to door services because they want to avoid extra costs...besides they dont trust online businesses. I also realised most of the affiliate products do not really apply to day to day life and quite honestly they are expensive even for those with relatively good jobs.

Milar, remember you are trying to do three things one is to attract people to your website, the second something is to grow your target audience and the third is to have that audience purchase something through your affiliate programs. If it means having them go through their relatives, so be it. If they have a dream of becoming wealthy and this is an option you need to provide that opportunity. You never know what a man or woman will do to for fill their dream. I would focus on the first two by designing your website, and posting content. The third will take care of itself once the first two are up and running.
