I am RANKING!!!!
Finally I am seeing some results. I know for the tougher keyboards it will take longer but some of my posts are ranking on pages 2-3 and 4. I am really happy as you can tell? So my next task for today is to write yet another Street Article.
My question is: should my street article link to my main page, my last post or a post that is not yet ranked?
I will try and write my SA tonight, that will be 2 articles written in 1 day. Plus I changed our dryer, cut the final step to go down to the basement, posted a new item on ebay. The only thing missing was having a beer ;)
My cheery will be a little Lego LOTR before bedtime. ( i sound like a teenager)

Congrats Mike! I know exactly how you feel! What I did was write a SA that came out to about 1,200 words because I was giving a couple of examples that took some explaining. Anyways, I was able to get 4 backlinks. So I linked back to each of my 3 high ranking pages and I used the 4th to link back to a page I wanted to get more traffic to.

Yes you should link your street article to your most relevant post on your website that you are discussing in your street article. For example if you are talking about I pad cases on your street article you should link that to a post on your website that talks about i pad cases. The key when writing a street article is providing people with more information on your topic and being relevant.
Whatever page or post on your website is relevant to your street article you should link to that one. I hope this helps you out Mike.
Ok then let me rephrase my question. If I write a street article in relation to a older post that is not ranked (du to higher competition) will it help that post?
Yes it should help it out because you will have a high quality back link going to it and you should start getting some traffic to it. There are many different things you could do to try and improve ranking on posts. I had a post that I couldn't get to rank at all and I checked the post to find I had used the keyword too many times. I changed it up some and reworded it and now it's on page 2.
Before that it wasn't even ranking at all. Writing a street article and linking to it should help it out.
Cool, sometimes you just can't get every post to rank. Its very frustrating but you shouldn't let it get you down. Just keep pushing forward and whatever you can do to try and improve the post for SEO is what I would do.
