Can you give me the answer ?

I've tried several wordpress themes and my current one is giving me a little problem, that I'm hoping a member may have the answer.

Going into Wordpress-Dashboard-settings-Reading setting. I wanted to set my latest post as full text, in other words show the whole article, not just the summary. Currently it's set for Your latest post and further down the setting page it's set to Full text. But as you may see in http://creatinglifestyle.com the page shows only summaries, any help I would be most grateful.

Thank you

Mike

I did reply saying the theme was 'The Clear theme' another of my theme does the same thing, so perhaps I'm expecting too much.

It could be your theme. What are you using?

Is the problem resolved? I looked at your page and I could see a full page.

Hi Trialynn, What I was hoping to do was have the latest post in full on the home page, instead what I get is the latest post is a larger summary than past post and not able to get a full post on the home page. perhaps that's just how they are designed.
thank you

As bloveds asked, what is the name of the theme you are using?

I don't know the answer to your concern Mike, but I had the opposite problem. I use a theme called: willingness by Manish Suwal.
I had to force the breaks using the 'more' icon when I was editing a post.
I don't know if that theme has the look you want, but when I clicked on 'summary' next to 'For each article in a feed, show' it wouldn't do summaries for me! Cheers Caden

Thanks Caden, perhaps what I'm after is not possible

Can't find a way to put the home page in the static index

Thanks Tommy I've give it a try, let you know how I get on.

Click on the next one that says static page and make your home page the first page. That way she never someone goes to your site from any of hour pages they will all be full pages. I hope this is what you needed to know.

Hi Tommy for some reason I know not what, I can't get a home page title in the index box to change the info in the static box

I am referring to your main page be it called main, home or what ever you title it then you can of the static page there from the drop down tab
