Hello everyone,
Can anyone offer some advice as to how I would go about backing up my website?
Thank you!
Mike
I assume your sites are being hosted here? If so WA does a daily backup of your websites. So you're covered.
If you wish to do your own backup, there are 2 ways. You can do it manually - or you can use a third-party backup service. One of the best for third party is CodeGuard.
There are also plugins as well. Here is a post on WPBeginner about the best backup plugins (pros and cons)
https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/7-best-wordpress-backup-plugins-compared-pros-and-cons/
But as I mentioned if you're hosting here, you're covered. No need for any other services or plugins.
Hope that helps
support take a backup daily...
hte backup plugins were being abused so are now on the banned plugin list...
if you need a backup of your site then ask support for a backup copy...
but unless you are leaving you don't need do anything...

Thank you
Mike
You have FANTASTIC responses here; kindly let us know if you require additional assistance. What is a Page or a Post? - How to Switch a Page to a Post and Vice Versa
Use the Post Type Switcher plugin. Once you've used it, you can delete it if you don't think you'll need it again.
You can use the plugin called Post Type Switcher here is a training to help you out.
Once all has been done you can safely delete the plugin. How to convert a Page into a Post and vice versa with this Plugin
Go to your plugin, add new, then in search, type "Post Type Switcher" By Triple J Software, Inc. install and activate then when you go to a post edit and then it will switch to a page that is the easiest way to do it then when you are done with it remove the plugin because too many plugins do affect your mobile speed. You can use it again when you need to, but if doing it once in a while, it's best to remove it when you're done. I hope this helps.
there is a plugin called post type switcher ...
goto the plugin menu item >>add new and search for it ...
install and activate ...
goto the post menu and hover over the post you want t ochange - click on quick edit...
and you should be able to change the post to a page...
and update...
after you have finished ...
deactivate and delete the plugin...

Hello everyone,
To save me from looking through the extensive theme options, does anyone know one that has a rolling image (no idea what it's actually called) on the hom
Appearance > Themes and add new.
When choosing a theme, look for features or plugins like "Revolution Slider," "LayerSlider," or "Soliloquy" and see what you can find.
I think you can select that when you customize your Header Settings. ON my theme, Responsive Blogily, you can rotate through selected images or a fixed image.
you could investigate the query loop block or there is a query loop plugin that will allow you to add ablock with whatever posts you want....

Hello,
Can anyone recommend a theme that looks decent when viewed on a mobile phone? The ones I have tried do not look good at all!
Thank you!
If your theme is responsive, it will look fabulous on mobile devices.
Otherwise, you have FANTASTIC responses here; kindly let us know if you require additional assistance.
Hi Cassi
Yes, I use GeneratePress Pro and GenerateBlocks Pro.
The free versions are excellent, but not with as many options. 😎
Frank 🎸
Michael, check out Astra as well.
It is super fast and the free version has the most downloads of all WP sites.
Cassi
Thank you, Catherine.
I am building my new site with Astra and may also move my WA MMO site across.
Cassi
was a fan - but lost me when they went to the header and footer builder with low speed issues....
it seems everyone is going that way - or fse themes....
are you sure it is the theme most are good for mobile now ...
plugins can cause issues with mobile views...
have you tried generatepress or blocksy or oceanwp or kadence....
as there are over 30,000 the list may be long....
no specific ones but looking for ones that try to add things to the screen are all potential culprits...
i had experience of a table plugin and a menu plugin making the mobile view far too wide.....

Hello everyone,
I'm just wondering how long it took you to get to the "this is working" moment? I've been with WA for 6 months now.............am nearly finished the trainin
Hi, Mike
Sales are based on website traffic.
How much traffic you get depends on things like your niche, keywords, number of posts, CTAs, and how you get people to your site (organic traffic, email list, YouTube channel, etc.).
Follow the training, keep going, and you’ll see results. 😎
Frank 🎸
Consistency, continued learning, and tweaking strategies based on data and feedback are crucial to success. Stay patient persistent, and keep refining your approach.
Above all, please keep it simple.
Patience is indeed a virtue, and it might take somebody three months or three years and can take someone two or three times longer or shorter, depending on a lot of things.
So, sometimes it's luck, and sometimes it’s following the training and asking a billion questions, sometimes it’s picking the right niche, and sometimes it’s patience and persistence. However, most of the time, it’s all the above!
Best of luck on your journey.
-Mike
Yes, I am also in the patience game with referrals. I have 258 total and none have gone premium. I'm going to"look under the hood" so to speak to see what I can add as value! Hang in there!
Congrats! since I started focusing on Kyle's webinars, I have just over a hundred referrals.
Some but not all. You can tell by looking right side above the webinars if yellow crowned or purple diamonds.
