Hi All

I have come across another way to monetize your website. Adsense is well and good for a few cents a click but what would you think if you could advertise all your affiliate links on your website?

What I am thinking is there is a plugin available for Wordpress, it is called Adsanity, it does cost but you can create banner ads for all your affiliate links on your website.

You can take control of your advertising and have all your affiliate links showing on your site. I have noticed on my site that some of the affiliate products I have advertise on my sitevia adsense and if I click on them I don't have the link for a commission, slightly upsetting!!!!

For example; If I have a "Get Fit "type website and have all sorts of affiliate products would it be better to have adsense promoting products that you earn cents on or direct them to your affiliate products that you earn a much larger commission? Also, all the competitive products (and even your affliate sites - without commisssion) show on your site and you earn bugger all.

Have a look at Adsanity, I've just started with it and I'm sure it will promote the same click through results and even better revenue.

I'll let you know as it progresses.

Cheers

Mike

Thanks for sharing this Mike. It looks interesting. I’ve been using Adsense for a while and may look for an alternative in the future

Interesting approach, Mike
