I Dont Like Spiders and Snakes
Years ago there was a song with the words...."I Dont Like Spiders and Snakes and that ain't what it takes to love me..like I wanna be loved by you"!!
Well, I don't like spiders and snakes! Both of them can scare you and both of them can bite you.
Negativity is a lot like spiders and snakes. Negativity scares me and negativity can come back to bite you.
It's kinda like the old cliche...is the glass half empty or is the glass half full? Perception is either a motivator or it is a crippler.
There is a notable Word that says...as a man thinks in his heart, so is he!
You either think you're a winner or you think you're a loser. You either think you can or you will come up with a thousand reasons why you can't.
Napoleon Hill wrote a book called" Thiink And Grow Rich". Many of us have had the pleasure of reading this great motivator. If you never have, I recommend it.
Think about this, if we were to simply break the title down, it would go something like this:
- Think
- Think and Grow
- Think Rich
- Grow Rich
- Think and Grow Rich!
A positive attitude leads to success. Successful people "think they can"!
Negative people will constantly make excuses why they can't or why something doesn't work or isn't working for them.
It's kinda like spiders and snakes....and....
I Dont Like Spiders and Snakes and that ain't what it takes to love me...like I wanna be loved by you!!

Hello, Mike--
That was a song sung by Jim Stafford. I still love that song! (Dating myself, again)
Negativity sucks, as in sucks the life out of you and anything you try to do. Even if you can't be 100% positive all the time, avoid being any % negative. Even cautious optimism is better than any negativism, period.
Work with a can-do attitude and stick with it. Even if you mess up, consider it a learning experience--not a failure. :)
