Stopping Trackback spam

Hi everyone. I hope you are well. I am getting daily Trackback spam messages sent to my website posts ALL from the same person ip address etc. I Mark them as spam and they are deleted. But it is really annoying. So does anyone know of a way of blocking this person from making comments in the first place? Many thanks and best regards from a sunny UK. Mike
