Word Press Back office
Just to clarify if this needs to be done each time we add a new post. After posting when we scroll down that page near the bottom there is a two part section Title 60 words or less and Description of 160. Do we need to complete this after every post. I assume we should, because it may help with indexing, In lesson 6 of the traing videos, Kyle shows doing this for the home page settings, Home page and Home description
On a regular post it is listed as just Title and Description

Thanks Mike, I don't believe that was brought up in the training in reference to doing posts, only mentioned the home page. I stand to be corrected if I am wrong. I caught that by error after i had posted an article on my site and scrolled down and saw the same thing as the home page for title and description.
In the future I will add content in those two fields in reference to my post, , just had a sneaky feeling that this had to do with indexing and ranking
Blog as often as you can and this will help with Google

Hi Mike, that was pretty good you noticed that and were able to act accrodingly. Sounds like you are doing awesome.
All the best,
Michael
Yes we should. The first one usually pre-populates and you should repeat the name in the description, along with some information on what your blog is about.
Thanks GeoffreyC1, wanted to double check before I got to far ahead of myself with posting, I thought it was a one time deal, yes it makes absolute sense now in doing as you explained.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for bringing this up. Much of the time Title and Description has picked up from your Title and the first paragraph of your article.
But it may need some tweaking to make it look better.
