I just changed my theme. Gosh, that was terrifying.
I just changed my theme to something a little more "grown up." While my site was down, I used "WP Maintenance Mode," a plug-in available for free, to put a splash page that notified my visitors that the site was currently down. Then, I got BUSY! I had made copies of all of my widget HTML (I'm not very HTML-y, so I was scared that I'd lose what I'd already done) and I went through every inch of "Customize" and...hopefully... I've come out with a halfway decent new site!
I'm also in the process of getting a Logo through Fiverr, which to me is a marketers heaven. Some people have had mixed experiences, but the person I've been working with is great. I plan to use them again for other aspects of the website.
Right now, I'm in Affiliate Bootcamp Course 3, Lesson 10. This is a "hiatus" time for me to improve the site, write more content, and try to get some traffic coming in. So far you've been the only visitors but, hey... you have to start somewhere!

I tried preview for several themes and no one looks good, text was changed, some photos missing. So I realized it was not worth doing. Earlier somebody says he was using 6-7 themes and change from time to time. Do not understand how this may be possible.
I remember when I changed my theme. I think I was holding my breath the whole time, lol!
