I followed through with the ad, and it shows as a blank white banner, which isn't clickable either. Just checking to see if this is normal?
Once you have the AdSense account approved, whatever you do... DON'T click on one of the ads yourself! I remember reading in their agreement terms, that you're not permitted to 'try it out' yourself.

Don't worry rbwnys, Google made that part crystal clear!
It'll fill with ads once you're approved. Until then it'll be a blank box.
