Important YouTube Scam to Be aware Of!
I recently came across a YouTube scam I have not seen before, and I almost fell for it.
It is a scam that is aimed at YouTube creators and is meant to create trust by pretending to be a partner interested in paying you to do a sponsored video. If you are not careful, the scammers will potentially end up getting control of your Google and YouTube accounts.
It is quite convincing, but luckily, I spotted some things that seemed strange and did further research.
But it can be tricky to spot, and therefore, I wanted to record this video to tell you all about it so you know what to be aware of.

Always have to be careful about anyone that are wanting to pay you for a sponsored post, we get TONS of these through email and they extended across every network. They are getting clever too, as you say.
Thanks for sharing here Mikael! :)
Yes, most are obvious scams that I just delete right away but the scammers keep trying to develop new ways.

Good morning Mikael,
Thank you for the heads up, Michael, it's appreciated.
It's amazing what these scammers will do and how clever they can be. It just shows that we can never be too careful when it comes to this type of thing.
Wishing you all the best and a very happy Christmas.

Yes, online it seems you have to always first assume anyone contacting you are a scammer until proven otherwise.
Also wishing you a very happy Christmas.
I hear you, Mikael! It's a shame it has to be like that, but at the same time, it's good to be wise.
Thank you for the good wishes, Mikael. I look forward to more tips on YouTube in the New Year.
