An important aspect of optimizing your YouTube channel is to write a compelling YouTube about section.

In this short video, I will explain how to do that and which elements you should make sure to include, in my opinion.

Good morning Mikael,

Thank you for another very helpful YouTube video, it's appreciated.

I couldn't remember if I had written a description for my YouTube channel or not, but I checked and I already have one. I noticed that you have quite a few links attached to your YouTube channel, I just have one link that goes to my website. So it's probably worth adding some more links.

Have a great day and thank you for the heads up.

Roy

If you have more relevant links to for example a lead magnet or other socials, it can definitely be worth adding.

Thank you for sharing, Mikael. I don't know how a compelling about section will help my horrible YouTube channel. Hahahaha.

Maxine :)

Everything helps:-) and more or less all videos feel horrible when you first start. That is part of the process. But we all need to start somewhere. So do not be too hard on yourself. By having a channel you are already doing more than most people are then you will just keep improving. The most important thing is to just get started.

Okay, I will try to give myself some room for improvement.

Then, I will probably get more subscribers.

Thank you, Mikael!

Maxine :)
