How My YouTube Shorts Got 150K Views on TikTok (The Importance of Repurposing Content)
Recently, one of my YouTube Shorts suddenly gained a lot of traction on TikTok. It was a Shorts that never really took off on YouTube, but since I had it, I thought I might as well share it on TikTok as well.
That video suddenly got 160K views and helped my channel get more than 4000 new followers in just a couple of weeks.
In this video, I will talk about this and why it is a good idea to repurpose content and use it on several platforms.

The video got quite a few comments and also quite a few visits to my website and YT channel. But you need a lot of views to get traffic from it but still a nice boost.
👍 That’s wonderful! It’s exciting when people stop long enough to make sincere conversations.💕
That's a good question, Brad and an interesting answer from Mikael.
I hope you're doing well.

Good morning Mikael,
Thank you for another informative video, Mikael, it's appreciated.
Are you uploading full length videos or just snippets from your YouTube videos to TikTok?
I have a TikTok account, but I haven't uploaded a video yet.
Have a fantastic day.
Roy
I have a VA that edits the long-form videos and make them less than 60 seconds and those are the ones I use. And I also have started creating some short videos he edits just for Shorts/reels.
But the one that got these results is actually not even one that is from a long video but just a very basic one of less than 15 seconds.
Thank you for confirming, Mikael, it's appreciated.
That's amazing, 15 seconds is really quite short in video terms. However, it does seem that people like very short videos, as it appears many people have a very short attention span!
Have a great weekend.
Roy
Thanks - great weekend to you too Roy.
