What brought YOU to Internet Marketing?
Are you inches from success, but are about to give up?
Every so often it's smart to think about what brought you to Internet Marketing in the first place. What is it the pursuit of money? A passion for reaching people? A case study for your marketing class in college? Your family? Whatever it was, something originally gave you the drive and excitement to reach for your goals.
Often times when you start ANYTHING new in life, the passion is there until things start to get difficult. Then it becomes more of a chore, and you find reasons not to continue. But anything worthwhile is worth the perseverance it takes to keep pushing forward.
Marriage counselors often tell couples to think about what brought them together in the first place. They say to try and re-kindle that same factor that united you, to save your marriage. And I contend that the same goes for my (and your) online journey. So what first drove me to internet marketing? What were my goals?
- To provide the life that my family deserves
- To be able to pay off my mortgage
- To be able to live on an Island, with the toes in the sand
- To be able to work from anywhere
- To be able to create a college fund for my children
- To save for retirement
- To see my kids grow up
Those goals are SO WORTH the hard times I have to go through. Those goals are the reason I should keep pushing forward. Those goals are why I shouldn't quit.
What are yours?

Those are all great goals! I blogged for a couple of years before I realized one could make money from it. I had to stop because we no longer had internet. So this is my passion already, i'll just add that list as the side benefits lol

My goal is to have the income to stay at home and pay attention to my two children. It hasn't changed. But I'm stuck on the niche and it's frustrating. I know it can be whatever I want, but yet, I don't have many hobbies to base an opinion on. But I'm not losing hope just yet.
