So, here I am half way through training module four after a little less than six weeks with WA. Many might look at what I've done so far and not be all that impressed, but as a total non-techie and someone who is at uni and running a home business full-time already, aside from the usual fmaily and social commitments, I am absolutely astounded at how much I have managed to achieve just by being really disciplined about spending two hours a day, five days a week on this!

It may help that I am a teacher and I often have to tell my students that there are two great enemies to productivity. One is procrastination, this can be linked with fear of not getting it right, not being good enough and thinking so deeply about things that you just never make any decent progress. The other is distraction, getting all caught up in doing lots of little things to kid yourself on that you are being productive when you are not really taking great steps. I've been guilty of that in the past, spending lots of time reading and watching training videos and analysing different steps instead of just leaping into it and learning as I go. I am very careful this time around to limit any time I spend on anything other than actual practical writing material that I can use.

Something you have learned thus far: What haven't I learnt? I have learnt how to use Wordpress and Social Media and all about affiliate links. All this was new to me. I never even had a Facebook account! I know I have a long way to go and that there is a lot that will need to be corrected, changed, polished up as I go. I know that I have to learn patience: the pyramids weren't erected overnight and all that...!

A question I have: The WA Pinterest stream is really great for following and being followed. I have no followers on Facebook and am currently posting my blogs out to the wind. Is there a Facebook followers/friend thing on WA aswell? That would be so great. I haven't told my friends and family yet what I'm up to at WA. I'm going to show them my site in a few months I think, by which time it will be hugely impressive if I continue on at my current rate of production ;)

My goal is to keep up a rate of a minimum of four posts a week, along with the other little jobs of constantly improving the site, and integrate quizzes and various other tools and have a website to be really proud of and that already looks halfway to being an authority site by the end of the summer. My website, by the way, is www.ukgrammar.com, so you can guess what the content may be!
