For many of us, writing is not something we envisioned we would be doing so much of! One of the biggest programs I faced was perfectionism. If it couldn't be perfect, by my standards, it was not worthy. So, you stare at a blank computer screen and nothing happens.
The following are some ideas to get you writing again:
1.Write About Anything You Want. There are no rules or restrictions, write about whatever you choose. Many people who do this will notice that their brain starts to get creative.

2.If you seem to be having trouble with one part of your blog, let it be for now. Move on to another area and come back later to the troubled spot. Sometimes this will trigger details in your mind that you can now include.
3. Think about the reason you are writing in the first place. Are you writing content about something you enjoy? When you write about something that truly interests you, your readers will feel it. Write what you know and love.
4. Change your scenery. Sitting in a dull, plain room with no windows or without a view could give anyone writers block. Take your work and step out onto your deck, go to a park or coffee shop, just make a change.
5. Figure out what time of day you are most alert, usually that is morning, but not always. Use this time as an opportunity to let your mind take over. Write an outline, make notes, and write all of your thoughts on the topic at hand. You'll soon be putting it all together before you realize what happened!
6. Take a complete break if all else fails. I don't mean that you should switch on the TV and watch The Dukes of Hazard re-runs. :) Do something creative like working on a scrapbook, woodworking, or try making something new that you've been putting off. It's things like this that force the creativeness out of you and eventually you'll want to get back to writing.
I'm sure there are many, many more ideas to help with writers block. Most likely every writer out there will come head to head with this issue at some point, but it is not permanent. Finding the momentum to keep going is in you, this is just a slight detour!
