Affiliate Marketing Burn Out

I know for myself and many others, the pressure we put on ourselves to succeed can be overwhelming and lead to burn out. When you want something to work so badly, you will literally put your physical and mental health on the backburner. Working at a non-stop pace is bound to catch up to you.

Ways To Avoid Burn Out:

* Prioritize your tasks. Make a list and follow it. Things that can wait should be at the bottom.

* Try to set work hours and make time for yourself and your family. Stick to it!

* Do not give up. It's easy to get discouraged when things seem to stall, but building a business will never happen overnight. Be prepared to wait and wait some more.

* Take some time off every day. We aren't meant to sit in front of a screen for hours upon hours. You have to take breaks and clear your mind.

* Believe in what you are promoting. The more confidence you have in yourself and what you are marketing, the less likely you will be to feel overwhelmed.

* Take a complete break if you need to. Your website will still be there and you will come back rejuvenated and possibly full of new ideas and ready to get back to it again!

Excellent advice Michelle.
Thank you for sharing.

Thanks Ken, I'm learning to take my own advice lately. lol

It's especially hard in the beginning when you are so hyped up to do well and get things going. Good advice and you are right, it will still be there when you come back!

Michelle, great post.

Take time for your family is super critical. That means I have to put my work out of my mind and be with them completely, not just physically.

Take some time off: I recently read every hour I need to get up and move around for 10 minuets.

Again, Michelle, not only a great post, but an important one to sustain us in our business.

I agree with you completely. Family comes first in my home, it has to. It is all about priorities and how to arrange them. :)

All great points, thanks for sharing them!

Sometimes I don't know how you keep up Shawn, you seem so very busy and yet you keep on. :)

Just focused. I get bored easily so I stay busy. :)

As always Michelle, appreciate your insight, input and advice!

Great advice , but how do members cope working on WA who have full time run of the mill jobs ?.That is my situation and I find it tough sometimes to do both .

It's hard when there is only so much of you to give! For me, I'm learning what my limits are and realizing that I can say "no." I have been going through some burn out and have had to really do some soul searching. :)

Try to set work hours and make time for yourself and your family. Stick to it!

Great advice!

nice suggestions and a nice comment
have a happy new year

Happy New Years to you as well! :)
