Read three times, say three times and write three times

Well that is what I was told was the best way to learn and remember, at school and uni, so I could pass those imperative exams. Old school? Perhaps but.....

I feel it still applies with whatever we set our minds to achieve at any stage of life, especially our learning life.

Learning life? Besides the best, of course; our life experiences!

Well for example; when we are learning something new at work, I like to write down the format that I need to follow, so that when I haven't got my mentor there I know what to do by just following the notes I have taken, as she/ he guided me through the initial process. To me it seems to set it 'in concrete ', so to speak and of course the more times you then use the important process, eventually you don't need your notes!

It becomes totally a part of, a natural part of, what you can do and just do, each and every day.

I do this as well at Wealthy Affiliates, because, hey, I'm human, I forget, but the beauty of this place is all the information is so easily accessible again and again and again.

But I have bothered to write down to me the most important, 'gems' that makes it easy for me to remember and apply.

And because I have bothered to write it down, it just 'sticks', a little bit better!

Plus, so much extra, 'gems', are given every day from the Community, All the more reason to keep notes!!!

A quick look at my notes can save me time and most of all frustration, I am so lucky to have so much available.

Wealthy Affiliates, an amazing place,

Thank you

Michele

Yes, my teacher always reminded me the same especially when it came to exam questions. Whenever I ignored this, I failed terribly so I knew that is practically true.

It's a good method for drilling in essentials!

I remember doing just what you said when I was taking exams. Since leaving/graduating, I have not used that method again. Thank you for the memories and share.
