After weeks of research, lucky to be here

Hey guys,

I am happy to be here writing this post, as I´m just about to complete the Course 2 Lesson 10. I´ve spent last several months getting interested in online business in general. I spent several month getting everything ready to launch a physical business in services and it needed a lot of money, a lot of work (mainly physical) and it needs some more work anyway. The business already cost me and my partners thousands and will take some time to generate profit, but we are excited about that one.

However, as nice as it is to work physically, I do not want to rely on one stream of income, that´s why I got interested in online business, but with a clear goal now.

I found some guys on youtube, that are really successful online and listened to them, it was hours of webinars, youtube videos, interviews, talks, but most of the things I learnt were:

1; how easy it is
2; how little work it requires
3; how they can teach me how to do it
4; etc., etc.

After those videos I felt like it´s so easy, I finally got it, but I simply did not know where to begin, how to do it and all I had was a lot of nice packed information. But what they actually covered was maybe 10% of the whole picture. I do not imply what they said does not work, I am sure it does for them and it actually made them millionaires, but it simply was not the whole picture. So I was trying to get the pieces together and felt really overwhelmed.

Then I decided to go into ecommerce first. I found a partner, whom I told about the opportunity, we gathered some money, spent several weeks building a website, doing some product reasearch, getting everything ready.

But there was a point the "gurus" did not mention. It was payment gateways, we had the website, we had the products, but no way to get paid. In two weeks I managed to found two providers for payment processing, but it will require to set up an entity in the country, where I live, submit the application and get ready to recieve payments. However, I felt like we are gonna spend hundreds of euros, then other money for advertising and we are just shooting blind.

On the other hand, I was doing 90% of the work (at least I felt like that) and I decided although my parner is a good guy, I am not gonna give up 50% of my profit for 10% of work. I paused the project and decided to learn before I go further.

That´s the point, where I found WA. I read about WA several weeks before I made the registration, but I simply did not read the whole review or thought it´s a much different product. However, since I´ve joined I´ve already learnt so much. Now I know I did not have the foundaition needed to run even the ecommerce store and it would cost me much more money in mistakes than to learn a bit at first.

Anyway, this site is mostly about affiliate marketing and I am gonna focus on that as well. I have my website running, first three posts published and going through the Lessons. Although the progress looks minor, I now have much clearer picture about how things work and I am not even in the middle.

Goals for next months

I am looking to work on my affiliate website, which is in luxury cruises niche. I am new to this niche and need to learn a lot as I go, but I find it really interesting. I´d like to go into other niches as well.

The thing is, the physical business I run is new and do not have a lot of customers yet, but the demand is increasing a bit every month. I now have several months relatively free, working just some days during the week and want to commit this time to building business online.

My goal is to know the content of courses here outlined as soon as possible and apply them for my niche websites. Along with my blogs, I ´d love to finally launch my eshop and make enough money to start selling my own branded products on Amazon. I like the possibility of growth online. And then I might find it interesting to move to other online fields as well.

My goal is to start making profit by the February 2018. I have already several projects in mind and want to work on them till I ´ll be required to stay in the physical business full time for the next year. ;)

However, I am doing all of this for one reason mainly, to be able to make money and live wherever I want in this beautiful world. I call this project Destination Cape Town, as it´s a place, where I really want to spend some time.
