Please inform me of any security issues and how you deal with them. I have been notified by Yahoo of some unauthorized activity on my email account.

Was it the data breach email or activity that was unusual for your account? Yahoo has advanced safety settings where you can disable access from what they deem to be "risky" sources. I don't use it because I use my default email client on my phone and an email client on my computer and this would disable them. You can also activate two factor authentication for added protection of your account.

Thank you for replying but how do I ask the site manager? Yahoo reported stolen data including passwords from 2013. This is before I joined.

You mean ask Yahoo? You don't. You take a care of it in your account settings.

I mean there is another purpose like gaining visitors to your site?

Oh?

Thanks Michael..:)

This is a community, it is to create a sub community of your own. People that you are interesting in knowing what their activity esp posts are. So you build a support and interaction network of your own. Completely voluntary

Thanks..Tyrellch...:)

On WA? No, it's just like following people on other social media - their posts will show up in your feed. That's all.

Many thanks..Boothe

I created my site on 29th August and it has 4 pages. So far the Google Index check is 0. I am based in Japan and using Google Japan offered in English. The website is homemusic

Type

site:homemusician.siterubix.com

into Google.

You'll see that you have a couple of pages indexed. Therefore, what you are seeing on Site Manager is incorrect.

Confirmed. Thank you.

You need to submit your website to Google Search Console (formerly Webmaster Tools). Kyle covers this in the lessons.

Thank you. I'll try and locate this.

Hi Michael, to make sure if your site is indexed by google check steps here:
https://blog.crazyegg.com/2016/02/05/get-google-index-website

However if you don't want your site to be indexed by Google yet, put this code on the pages that you would not like to be indexed:
It should be in <head> section.

<meta name="robots" content="noindex, nofollow">

To be removed from search result, you should block by robots.txt . it automatically check sites and index them.
If you want your entire site not to be indexed, you need to create a robots.txt on the root folder and add below codes on it:

User-agent: *
Disallow: /

Don't forget to skip above steps when you want your site to be indexed by Google.

Best,
Ali

Thank you very much. I will carefully go through to see what can be done. Do you think I should add a lot more to my website to increase the chances?

Not a lot. That's good enough if u do it on a regular basis )

I'd recommend you contact site support Michael.

Site Support is only for hosting problems.

Right, but thanks anyway for your kind help, CraigReviews.
