How to write a review without having purchased the product?

If it's practical and affordable, purchasing the product is best. That way, you can write the review with first hand knowledge. However, combining information from multiple reviews by other people is not necessarily a bad thing. You have the opportunity to bring together, in a single review, the opinions and experiences of different people, possibly with differing views of the product. In other words, you are doing all the legwork that your visitors would otherwise have to do themselves. That, by itself, is worth a lot to people. That's how I approach my product reviews, stating so right on my web page. I hope this helps.

Thanks Larry. I haven't thought about it that way. How do you state this on your web page?
Hi Machael.
I've been away for a while. Trying to get back into the swing of things. I know these comments were 5 months ago, but ... better later than never. :-)
I have the following 2 paragraphs at the top of my product review page.
"On this page I provide reviews of various products that might be of interest to anyone looking for computers for seniors or other software solutions geared towards seniors and other non computer literate people."
"First, I want to make a disclaimer so as to be perfectly transparent. I do not own any of the products reviewed here. I did, however, research many websites, including manufacturer and marketer websites, as well as various customer and professional reviews."
I then dive right into the reviews of various products.
I hope this helps.

Since Joining WA I have noticed a marked increase in my internet usage data. I'm wondering if working for 2 hours plus on WP might have something to do with it.
Well, you are logged on to the web a long time. Get an unlimited plan from your internet provider

Not all of us are writers, in fact, not all of us here speak English as a home language. Certainly this is a disadvantage.
If content is king, how can we ever hope to
Hi Michael
Two places to get information on how to write better english are 'Grammarly' as mentioned below and also I wrote a post on writing content here: http://onlineaffiliatewealth.com/how-to-write-great-website-content.
I teach english in China and I tell my students to just write it and speak it as often as they can and you will get better as time goes by.
With writing it easier to improve once you have written something, so don't worry just get it down in writing and ammending it is the easy part. :)
Yes, you can acquire the skill of creating great content in the same way that you can acquire any other skill Michael. I can tell you that your English is already very good and it is only going to get better as you use it more!
Practice makes perfect and it is the sure path to get good at anything.
I'm not a native in English, so I used Grammarly to check my grammar and punctuation: The free Spell Checker & Grammar Checker by Grammarly - a Great Chrome add My suggestions: Keep trying to write. At first, you can try with small content like 300 words. After some times, you will begin to write in English casually :)
If you have some funds, you may hire a freelancer to write but I personally think you need to have the experience of writing in English first before hiring them.
Having some experiences by yourself will make you easier to select the best freelancer to do that writing job
I am not a native English speaker and this is disadvantage, no way around it. You may improve skill in time though.
Is good content writing an aquirable skill?

Just want to know if WA is more aimed at people just starting out or can experienced folk also benefit from joining?
Yes, absolutely. WA is good for learning how to build Websites on Wordpress and is also often used as an affiliate program for online marketers...such as ourselves.
Absolutely...it benefits both!
Some people come here as experienced marketers and have a whole new education in Affiliate Marketing.
I see a lot of IT professionals that also come here to learn AM from scratch.
Even people who are experienced Internet/Affiliate Marketers benefit from this community!
A good example would be our plentiful Mentors here....
Do You Have a Mentor? Many of our members/mentors here came in at all levels of experience.
Many of them do not "need" WA for a source of income...they choose to be here to be a part of this spectacular community and all it has to offer : )
Always a pleasure to speak with you Michael : )
If you Private Message one of the mentors I mention (and other members mention in the comments) you could get their take on your question as well!
Have a great day!
