Designing my own logo VS using Fiverr

I feel the need to share with you my awesome, first-time experience with Fiverr...
I designed my own logo in basic paint (I don't know the first thing about Adobe or anything else about graphic design). I've been using paint for simple drawings since I was a kid so thought I'd give it a shot when I created my website.
Here is my original logo designed in Paint:
I don't know if the rest of you are like me, but I am constantly staring at my website, thinking of ways I can improve it. Well, I finally had my website the way I liked it, but there was just something about my logo that kept bothering me.
I couldn't quite grasp what it was I didn't like about it (besides being so blurry and pixelated when zoomed in on) so I decided to post a request on Fiverr, with my current logo attached, to see what responses I would get. Boy did I get a lot, but most were just basic copy/paste advertising for their services. However, one particular seller included the modification ideas he had for my logo in his offer which I really liked.
Though he could do it for $5, I chose the $10 package for unlimited revisions just in case, but it only took two for me to be 100% completely satisfied!

It definitely looks more modern and is certainly something I couldn't achieve myself. Though I could have gotten away with just the $5 package, I wanted to be safe and in my opinion the final result is well worth more than the $10 I spent (Fiverr actually charges a $1 fee so it was really $11).
So I just want to let anyone know who may be struggling with a logo design for their website, do yourself a favor and head over to Fiverr! A $5 or $10 investment for a beautiful, eye-catching logo is definitely worth it to me.

I'm really happy and after the pleasant experience I had for Fiverr I will not hesitate to use them again for things I cannot do myself.
There's so much you can get done professionally on there for less than the price of a Starbuck's order! =)
