Cause and Effect
Congruency is when ones actions are in line with ones intentions. Ones intentions proceed from ones thoughts. And we know where these thoughts come from. Yep ... that voice in our head.
And is a two sided coin.
Imagine two circles the same size. Congruency is when both circles come together and overlap to form one circle.
You can be either or both. Those that plan and pull off a bank robbery are in complete harmony with their intentions and actions. Being congruent.
And for those those that intend to create something wonderful and pull it off, are also in complete harmony with their thoughts and actions. Being congruent.
So if you wanted to do something for a charity but don't have the money. You could pull off a bank robbery and give the money to the charity. So simple, but at opposite ends of the moral spectrum.
The choices are left for each and everyone one of us. But the consequences can be so very opposing. One being jail or the other, reward.
That is the beauty of being a human creature. We get to decide. A dog, or cat, or cow, or horse, don't. They is what they is.
We can become aware of our instincts. And with that other bit of magic that only human creatures have, imagination. We can fashion our life and environments to our liking.
All other creatures are not aware of their instincts, and are not able to make any changes to them.
All other creatures are so natural at being what they are. Have you ever seen a frog pondering and tormented with thought of becoming a prince? Will I won't I!
What doesn't screw with them is ego. Although us human creatures have freedom, choice and imagination. Allowing us autonomy. Something else has been thrown into the mix, to stir things up. Ego.
Here we can fall back onto excuses and come up with all sorts of reasons. Or we can be a bit more cunning, as a fox, and outsmart Mr. Ego.
That's the beauty of choice. And there is a tiny gap of time between instinct and reaction. It's what we decide in that fraction of a second that can make a world of difference at times. The smarter ones, stretch that fragment. And bring into play another variable, Wisdom.
Gee is it no wonder life gets complicated. But how many of us react instantly? And are then left wondering why that awful odorous stuff hits the fan.

I found that quite "deep" in a good way. I'll ponder on that one for awhile and come back to you. Saving this post.
When posting to facebook, can I make a hash tag, like #causeandeffect or #theblogformen, will that get people to the site or to other related articles?
