For a newbie on building his/her website. Should the person focus on doing the right things? Or doing the things right? Or Both?
Please share your thoughts and experienc
Focus on the right things from the lessons that’s a newbie trick. Stick to it, don’t divert, if you do, you will get lost. Follow the courses to its letter, you should do well. You will make mistakes, it’s part of learning. I’m here a year, still got a lot to learn.
The 'right thing' is writing good content and don't focus too hard on keywords. Include them in the title and first paragraph. After that, focus on writing content that people want to read. This takes practice so don't stress about it at first. After it's done, then you can tweak it for SEO. ;)
My 2 cents,
Paula
hey hi Michael!
Likely focus on doing the training right in learning to build the new on-line website and scale it to Success!
*** you're most welcome, Michael -- yes, there's lots to learn, to do and to build and then we all experience that occasional 'overwhelm!' moments .... and that's when a workplan comes in handy to help us keep on track and in balance with all things.... remember it's a journey or some might say it's going the loonggg-distance stroll, walk, or run, depending on one's 'speedometer!' ... lol ... most of us are like ... 🐢🐢🐢 ... turtles! .. lol ...***

Effectiveness or efficiency? or both?

Michael--
My opinion is, besides following the training, keep your website simple until your training is complete, then add all the bells an whistles--just my two cents!

What if you are presented with a service that is going to increase your sales. Some make money with it, some don't and quit.
Will you pay for this service? Why?
What's yo
It make sense if the sales is going to increase more than $50 in profit. I will pay after some research and whether it fits my needs.
If it didn't gave results as expected, how long would you stay until you determine it is not working for you?
Need to identify the root cause first. If you have done what is needed and there are no results than need to review in the product.
If there are already mutiple successful stories I will follow what they are doing.
Time will be dependent on the platform. If you are starting a new business than results will take longer to show. A fair timeline will be 6 months depending on the complexity of the business.
If you are already successful in the business than the results should also be immediate. If there are no results I will stop after 1 month.
