Growth through discomfort, Commitment Commitment Commitment
One of the wealth principles from Harv Eker is to commit to what you want to achieve. That is to do the things even though it's a discomfort to you. If we keep doing the same thing, we get the same result. Do the different things and get different results. Growth is through doing the things that make you discomfort.
One of the member in WA have done this, she started a Youtube channel and felt uncomfortable recording her first video, showing yourself on Youtube to the public is a discomfort. However, this is the way to achieve growth and success.
There is a video based on true events that I watched on Youtube resonates with this. Three wannabe K-pop teenage girls recorded their first intro video. They felt so anxious when wanting to upload the 1st video. But they did it anyway.
Doing the uncomfortable task is the first step. Next is if you can endure it till you see success. Back to the three girls that uploaded their video, yes they did it, they recorded their first video and posted it. What they get in return is a lot of dislikes and sarcastic comments. After 7 years, 2 of the them move on becoming a dancing class teacher while the other one work as a office clerk. The lead singer kept on her dream of becoming a star, but works in a cafe and perform at the cafe on Monday nights only. Sometimes she just want to give up her dream when faced with unfortunate situations, but her two friends kept pushing and supporting her. So she hasn't give up yet.
I can post articles onto my website. My articles most probably sucks and I get no views. My blog can be posted here in WA and get no engagement. Now is to see if I can endure even I don't see any results. How about you? Will you take the first step and continue pressing on even if you don't see anything in return or give up?

What if we didn't worry at all about views, comments, likes, ...etc?
Are we writing for those things?
When I write its meant to be informative and hopefully it touches someone, but I am not waiting around to see what kind of a response I get.
I am on to the next thing that I have to be doing. That's my focus.
We may not see the fruits of our labors for months or even years, but if we keep building on our foundation then success will come.
In the meantime, we also become a better writer and communicator so we are gaining something positive as we move along.
Focus on the work that needs to be done. Everything else will fall into place.
To Your Success!
