Take it slow, reach goals

When I joined WA I started off with a bang, full speed ahead. But after a month, it felt like I am starting to burn out, juggling between WA, my day job and very little sleep. I lost all interest in everything and anything. I didn't feel like going to work or to give any time to my wife and daughter. I decided to give it a break and focus on my day job and family a bit.

My problem is that I set too many goals that are too big and will take some time to achieve. By doing this I have realized that I do not reach my goals because halfway through I get negative and stop working on the big goals. Don't understand me wrong, it is a must to have big goals, but you need to set easier achievable goals in between to keep yourself motivated.

I took about two weeks off from WA to get my priorities in line, and decided to set smaller goals first, and reach them. For now, I want to achieve certified commentor status and earn by doing comments. Anyone doing this? What is the average income for this? I expect it to not be much though.

Second goal is to do 1 post to my site per week, as well as finish a training session. These are much more short term achievable goals than wanting to earn $8000 in the first two months.
