Subjective assessment
In subjective assessment there are no characteristics set which are used to assess a person's understanding, strengths and weaknesses on a particular topic or activity. The participants are given the same topic to tackle and sometimes no hints given about it. The participants will tackle what ever they are given on their own giving examples which will take people on board. After this hectic work, there will be someone who is going to look at or assess your work using his or her own expert knowledge.
The assessor will write what he or she thinks could have been written and keep on deducting marks..They sometimes look at one aspect in someone's work during assessment eg could be language proficiency, whereas the writer had emphasis on knowledge, it will look like the awarding of marks is inconsistent, is negotiable and sometimes time consuming. The role of relationship is of high probability. If the assessor is familiar with soter is out of topic and this has the negative impact on the writer.
In subjective assessment, meone ,he or she will make sure that particular person is uplifted even if the performance is not good enough. This kind of assessment sometimes has no face of validity, you cannot see what people know, that is why there will be many questions such as, what does she or he know, how has he or she ascended there? it is difficult to measure, control performance because no different methods of assessment are used which the participants could also see their strengths, weaknesses so that they could work on improving them in the future.
Subjective assessment is frustrating, you will ask questions which no one can answer or is obliged to.This kind of assessment is can destroy talents of many and their future prospects, but in a way it can be good, it generally assess a variety of talents unawarely.

The good news is the internet is so huge there will be no bias or unfair personal assessments IMO. What you put out will be either be received with open arms or rejected as false. That is why I try my best to be honest and personal on my sites. Best wishes. Glyn

Thanks for this post and for sharing. I personally not very fond of any kind of assessments, although I do know they do have their purposes sometimes.
