The Brick Wall
Creativity gets stifled at times and I try not to phone it in for the interest of moving forward. I have reached a life crossroads and even though I know which direction I need to travel, sometimes it is hard to leave the road I've been on behind. This involves leaving things and people you care about behind as well. Some people dont want to go down the same road I'm traveling, and some things are just not needed. I have the direction, but the motivation often lies with the ones that I may need to leave behind. So, I slow my pace, hoping that the ones I want to take with me on my journey are willing and able to catch up with me. But do I slow down at my own detriment? Am I indeed my own worst enemy? Do I self destruct everytime I get close to reaching my objective? All of these apply to me. I am not an island, and I need all the help I can get.
This is why I am a happy member of Wealthy Affiliate, a community of like minded people that will pull me up from the depths of despair and help me to acheive my goals asking nothing in return except for my passion and my drive. Taking a new path is never an easy choice, but change is necessary in life and the support is there.
I don't believe in blocks so I don't experience them. I tell myself that ideas are flowing freely.

We have all been where you are now at some point in our lives. It takes courage to leave a familiar route and travel a new one. It is especially hard to leave people behind. It takes courage to move ahead on a new path and you have now taken the first step by joining Wealthy Affiliate.

Last year I hit a brick wall at about 60m.p.h. I demolished it but I was lucky enough to survive -badly bruised but no broken bones. Car was a write off and I realized that I was very lucky to be alive. These brick walls that we meet in life can bring us to our knees but then the only way is up. I've noticed that a lot of people have their greatest break-throughs in life at the point when they have reached their lowest point. Hope that will happen for you
