Howdy all!!

I've just completed the tutorial on niches, and I have to say it's quite straight forward. I have always had these small hobbies, interests and preferences on what I like to do on with free time, but have never considered them niches really.

My question to you all!! What made you choose your specific starting niche compared to the rest of your hobbies and other possible niches you considered?

What makes the difference between the one you chose first, over the rest?

Look forward to hearing from you all!!

Cheers,

I chose my niche based on a long time consideration of what I would build a website on and the decision in my case is based on YEARS of online activity and a passion for a particular subject that I have followed for many years. The Category is Health and Fitness and my niche is to target Obesity that is now a real threat to human like. My aim is to give to the general public a go to shop to find anything they wish about obesity so my website will have hundreds of links to other websites and affiliate programs who are vendors of products and information that the public require to be educated in the effects of consuming certain foods. It will be an in-depth analysis of health, nutrition, food to eat and foods to avoid, diets to be considered and diets to be discounted, free books on all subjects related to these topics to create a magnet for leads and making sales. All sales will be made by the affiliate vendors on their websites not mine thereby cutting down the amount of administrative work I have to do. Their websites actually do the sales and marketing my website only points people in the right direction The affiliate vendors are happy because I give them leads and I am happy because I just pick up the 75% commissions for sending them the leads.

That's awesome Piper! As a plus to that, you'd be helping your audience with a real threat, which is serving your people, whenever servitude is there, the money will follow!
