Adsense Approved! YAY!
Hey everyone!
I'm getting really excited lately! Thanks to help from Littlemama and friends, I'm getting more and more of my content indexed (6 posts just within the last few days!) and I've become less shy about adding code into Wordpress.
Because of you, yes YOU wonderful people, I'm less afraid to take opportunities for my business.
All of this has led to me getting accepted by Google Adsense!
Even though this is supposed to be a small and basic achievement, I feel my dream job's progress has taken a leap forward!
I'm not unaware of the catches to this though:
- It will rely on traffic to make money (which I don't have)
- My ads will have to reach a total of 100 clicks (or the amount worth $100... I can't remember which XD )
- It will take a while to see any amount of money come from it
Despite these realistic expectations, why not be excited?!
I'm just a newbie with a dream and a dream with a goal, just like many others here at WA. It can be very easy to get discouraged along the way.
Why not consider this a victory rather than just another step forward?
We aren't always going to have a pick-me-up, so why not allow ourselves to get hyped every now and then?

Do you know how we get paid, once the money comes in?
Okay, in the payment section of your Google Adsense account, you will see a section labeled "How You Get Paid".
Underneath the title, it says this - "You don't need a payment method until your earnings threshold has been reached".
So you and I don't have to be worried about setting it up until then.

That's great news.
It's time to get more traffic so that those ads get clicked to earn you commission. Meanwhile, think about strategies of other moentization - affiliate link in your content etc. This might get you paid better than adsense.
