Hi everyone I hope everyone is doing good.

I am not sure why I feel this is neccessary to share with you tonight, but it has been sitting on my mind and I feel I need to.

For about the past couple of hours I have been going through and reading blogs that I tucked away for a time like now. Basically a change give my brain a little break.

However, as I was reading them I came accross one, no it was not bad in any size shape or form. But more towards how someone has had a rough life but they remembered all they people who have been there to help.

Well for whatever reason reading this blog in particular, my whole past has come rushing back to me running through me like a freight train. (Except the of course the parts that was so bad that still to this day I can not remember). For a moment of course I became overwhelmed.

But I took a deep breath brushed this away and kept reading. Then all of them great moments of people who have helped me big and small (including all of you) came rushing back.

And I am thankful for all who have helped but it reminded me of one great awe inspiring moment I want to share with you. It really is a simple act of kindness but it had a major impact on me.

If you have read my bio I am sure you know I am a single mother so I do understand what is it to struggle. Well of course this is one of those hard times and money was tight.

I pulled up to a gas pump one day on the way to see my mom. I had went into prepay for my gas, I told them $10.00 with a decent smile. I walked out and started pumping my gas. As I was almost done this very young girl I would say early 20's probably a college student came bouncing out of the store part.

Next think I know she is trying to get my attention, Mamm Mamm, after I realized she was talking to me I looked up and just as I did she smiled real big at me and she had started to walk away but as she was walking away, she said you can go ahead and put another $5.00 in your tank.

Of course I was completely shocked and said what, in which she repeated herself and then sorry I couldn't do more. I somehow managed to utter a Thank you out of my complete and utter shock.

And all she said is your welcome pay it forward.

This left a huge impression on me. Such a young lady and so thoughtful now she had no way of knowing how perfect the timing was. But she left a great impression with me.

So I have 2 final thoughts with this mix.

First even small actions can leave a huge impression so be nice and try to do something nice because you never know how much that may be needed.

And second is to do with my bad memories I mentioned above. I know that none of you probably know all of my past. But it has been very hard. However, the one saying that has kept me going and I have seen proof of it is, You may have it bad but someone always has it worse. So keep your head up and make it better.

Which is what I am doing!

Thank you for everyone who reads this and I hope it helps you in some way.

Thank you for sharing your touching stories.

There are more love out there than we know. Sometimes we are too focus on the details, dwell in the past, and forget how blessed we are.

Thank you for the reminders of those special moments where we can make a difference no matter how small...

Ha --

You are welcome and it is so true it can be so small like a smile that can change someones whole day.

Inspiring story Melissa and yes great to know that there are people who care and always others worse off.

~Mark :)

Thank you and yes they are great reminders aren't they.

Thank you for sharing that touching story. It really does work like that.
Finish your weekend with a bang!

You are welcome and I am going to try to thank you for coming by.

Great point Melissa and thanks for sharing!!

Tried and true

Elaine

You are welcome thank you for coming by.

Good of you to record that incident as it become something you now realize worthy of mention.

Yes it stays in the front of my mind all of the time and every time I think it about I still get that great sensation.

Your story touched me deeply, Melissa. Most of us only know the surface bits of "us" as individuals learning and building businesses.

The generosity of strangers can turn our world around.

All the best to you,
Sue

It is so true I just made a comment on someones else blog yesterday that stands true here as well
You never know what goes on behind closed doors
This helps us to see each of us has our struggles but as a team we can overcome them.
And yes she had me tearing up that day!

Exactly! There is so much support in a network like we have here. We're all here for each other.

All the best,
Sue

Great story. Great mom.. I very proud of you. Thanks for share

Thank you it means a lot that you read it.

That's touched me deeply.
Thank you for sharing it. It's good we have a caring society here in WA and really hope it will develop to bigger in future e. g. giving a hand to members who really need it.

Take care Melissa.

:)

I am very glad for the great people here and that ones that exsist off line. However off line I don't think I have seen a group this big that is this caring.
My hopes are with you
And you are so welcome
Thank you I always try to
:)

Nice story. I’m glad that there are still good people in the world.
