A Leap of Faith?
Many of us have just started out here at Wealthy Affiliates and some of you may have trepidations about whether you are "doing the right thing" or is this just another scam.
I know exactly how you feel as I had just been scammed by another so called "online Markting" scheme that was quick to take my money but nose dived within a week ofme signing up for one of their "courses".
In fact that is how I came to find WA. I was actually researching this other company (probably should have done that before handing over money - ouch! Lesson Learned!) and i saw an interesting blog posted by a WA member. I was instantly interested!
So like this crazy person in my image above I took yet another leap of faith into the semi unknown! Of course this time I have been doing a LOT of research as don't want to hand over my hard to come by $$$ only to find this company is under investigation too! But I can assure you I have found nothing untoward.
In fact I have not really found anything that is negative about WA. So i am going to take that BIG leap of Faith and sign up for the twelve months.
I truly have found this community to be very supportive although i have a long way to go with training and my website. But I am feeling positive about the journey ahead.
So if you are a bit like me (and hopefully you have done your own due diligence) and need a wee push to get you over the edge - Take a leap of faith and be confident!
In case you are interested this picture was taken yesterday of a crazy person jumping off the Macau Observation Tower - the highest bungee jump in the world! And it was raining!

That's how I found WA too Melanie; I was searching to see if others were as dissatisfied with the online training company I joined (and handed over my $ to.) There were many but it lead us here so as they say, 'It's All Good!'
I sgree with kehaiz, it has stopped with WA, you are in the right place, with your own business and will learn which opps are worth reviewing, and which are scams to avoid
In my honest opinion, based on my experience, others will share their own stories, you start out as an affiliate, try various opps out, but then find yourself progressing to being your OWN affiliate, that is what you have here... being a proper business owner

Choose your theme, with some care
Great Post and yes I believe at one time or another we have all been taken by a scam or two down the road. And things look kind of skeptical when WA pops up and we all think that this is another get rich quick scheme when in fact it is quite the opposite and that is what makes WA unique because of the fact that is it not a scam.
Though many people might think it is until they tried and find out that it is not. And then they all wondering where WA has been hiding when in fact it has been there the whole time.

Sometimes it can be hard for people like me especially if you have been bitten before! That’s why I wrote this post. I lost about $300USD on a scam recently which doesn’t sound like a lot to some people but that was $300 hard earned dollars that I simply couldn’t afford to throw away - and yet I did. Albeit unwittingly. But WA just feels more legit and I love that I am not getting harassed constantly or pressured into signing up for something that I am not even sure what I am paying for.
At least with WA you know exactly what you are getting!
